A Very Merry Christmas!

Hello, readers!  This is Libby, by the way.  We had a wonderful Christmas!
We all went down Aurora for Christmas.
 Isn't Nana's tree lovely?
Chrissa and Elizabeth were there, as well as McKenna.
Since we went youngest to oldest, I got to go FIRST!!!!  I excitedly tore into the wrapping paper, and plopped the bow on my head.
"Very festive!" Chrissa complemented me.
 See???????!!!!!!!
Next in line came Chrissa.  She opened Liberty's present to her.
Do you like the notebook?  I made it myself.
McKenna seemed to like the painting I made for her.
 Then, it was my turn.
Elizabeth made me these lovely hat, scarf, and mittens.
Isn't this calender cute?  It was Marie's gift to Elizabeth.
Just then, Addy and Jubilee walked in.  Only a bit late.  Despite the fact, we gave her presents: a pearl necklace from Marie, ...
 ... a watch for Jubilee, ...
 ... A gymnastics painting for Chrissa, ...
... and also a stuffed animal whom Chrissa named "Blossom".
I was most amazed by the gift from Addy and Jubilee, which was a American Girl doll.
 I call her, "Maria".
We also got a bureau from our Grandma and Grandpa.
We enjoyed our Christmas very much, but probably my favorite thing was remembering how Jesus was born.
Merry Christmas!

Saturday with Rissa

Hi all!  Today, I finally got to see my cousins, Chrissa and Elizabeth!  They had been in Aurora, but last night their parents drove them up to see us.
Unlike us, Elizabeth and Marie-Grace were up early, so they made us a yummy breakfast.
"What should we do today?" I wondered as Rissa and I finished up our totally yummy breakfast.  "We can't make mud pies like we did last time you came." (http://thesaltysadollblog.blogspot.com/2013/05/what-we-did-this-week.html
"How about we do a fashion show?" my resourceful cousin suggested."Elizabeth brought all her fancy dresses."
"Sure, why not?"  I replied.
"Let's pretend to tap dance!"  said my fruzzie, after we put on some fancy dresses.
"But I don't know how to tap dance!" I protested.
"I said 'pretend'." she replied.
We changed dresses a couple of times.
Doesn't the pink dress look like a ball gown on Chrissa?
All this time, Elizabeth and Marie had been talking and talking and talking.
After getting into our normal outfits, we all did each other's hair.  How do we look?  Then we decided to do  a photo shoot outside.
 Starting with my sister, ...
 ... then Elizabeth ...
 ... then myself ...
... and last but not least, my favorite fruzzie Chrissa.
After that, we took pictures together.
How do you spend time with your Fruzzies?

Home alone

Hello lovely readers! It is true, that a few days ago Liberty and I were left at home while mother and father went to a meeting.
As soon as I finished my schoolwork, I settled down with a good book.
Libby however, was not so easily satisfied. First, she tried to call and talk to our cousins who live in Florida.
After  two tries, Libby decided to practice her cartwheels. As you see, Caramel wasn't much of a help. Finally, she sat down, dejected.
"Why don't we watch a movie?" I suggested, wanting to cheer her up. "That's a great idea!" Libby exclaimed.
Very soon, we were huddled in Libby's old quilt before the T.V.
We decided on watching Narnia, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Just in case you are not familiar with this story I will give you a summery. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are sent to the country because of the bombing raids on London.
In the house were they are staying Lucy finds a magical land inside a wardrobe.
Although it is summer in England, it is winter in this new land.
She learns from a faun that it is always winter in Narnia. Because of the White Witch. The White Witch commanded this faun, named Tumnus,to turn over to her any human he found, so she could kill it. Mr. Tumnus decides not to turn Lucy in, even though there could be consequences for him. Later, all of the children get in.
While we watched Libby and I eat some sweet things. I eat  a candy cane.
Libby eat some of the gum she had got in her boot (See last post).
Edmund having decided to betray them, goes to the White Which's castle. She is not as friendly as when he last saw her.
Meanwhile, Peter, Susan, and Lucy have gone to  The King, Aslan and are now staying at his camp.
 Peter.
To save his sisters Peter kills a wolf and Aslan knights him.
 Susan.
The next morning, Edmund is back. They all decide  to stay and help free the Narnians from the White Witch.
 They have to practice.
 A lot.
Then the White Witch demands a meeting with Aslan. She make it clear that  traitors belong to her, and that Edmund will die.
Aslan says he will sacrifice himself to save Edmund.
So that very night, the White Witch kills Aslan on the stone table.
Peter and his Army faces the Witch alone.
 The Army.
 The Witch in her chariot.
 Peter.
 The Witch's general, Otmin.
Aslan comes back to life and saves them.  Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy become Kings and Queens of Narnia. This movie is a family favorite. Perhaps you see why.
Do you like watching movies?
Have you ever been home alone?
